Auto
Shutoff
If
the compass does not detect
a magnetic change of 15
degrees or more in 10
minutes, the "auto
shutoff" switches
off the unit, saving the
settings. The lack of
a magnetic changes usually
means that the vehicle
is parked. The "auto
shutoff" works if
you are using your 12
volt adapter or if you
have the unit hardwired.
The V7000 is currently
the only unit which lets
you override the "auto
