Digital Compass with Temperature

The PNI Wayfinder® V2000 Digital Compass System displays your heading continuously in three different ways: a compass rose, 16 cardinal points for general direction, and a numeric 5° digital readout for a precise headings.

Includes bearing point memory to help you stay on course. Also displays an interior or exterior temperature reading for comfort monitoring. An ICE alert warns of hazardous road conditions ahead. The bright backlight turns on and off automatically for clear viewing, even at night. Includes battery, 12-volt adapter, and 10-foot temperature sensor cable with retainer clips.

Auto Shutoff
If the v2000 digital compass does not detect a magnetic change of 15 degrees or more in 10 minutes, the "auto shutoff" switches off the unit, saving the settings. The lack of a magnetic changes usually means that the vehicle is parked. The "auto shutoff" works if you are using your 12 volt adapter or if you have the unit hardwired. The V7000 is currently the only unit which lets you override the "auto shutoff."
