AlcoMate Core is designed based on a highly accurate Micro Elect-Mechanical semiconductor sensor rich in n-type conductivity charges. When exposed to Alcohol, its surface is oxidized resulting in fewer number of free electrons and thus a higher surface resistance. This change in conductivity will be measured and converted to percentage of BAC the later displayed.
