The AlcoScan AL6000 is an advanced professional alcohol breathalyzer which is DOT approved and recommended for use by police and US government agencies. It employs advance features such as pressure sensing, One-Way-Blow mouthpiece and cumulative test results.

AlcoScan™ AL6000 is designed based on a highly accurate Micro Elect-Mechanical semiconductor sensor rich in n-type conductivity charges. When exposed to Alcohol, its surface is oxidized resulting in fewer number of free electrons and thus a higher surface resistance. This change in conductivity will be measured and converted to percentage of BAC the later displayed.

AL6000 delivers .005% or 5% accuracy at 0.10% BAC. Results are displayed on a bright digital display
